This is not an accident investigation report.

Just before reaching V1, a light aircraft jacking pad punctured the nosegear tyre. The take-off was aborted, but the VC-10 overran the runway and dropped on the lower ground and broke up. The aircraft burst in flames. PROBABLE CAUSE: Partial loss of braking power due to the incorrect reassembly of part of the braking system.
