This is not an accident investigation report.

During the take-off run (which was 700m longer than normal) the no.3 engine failed. The aircraft continued to climb atV2+15. After retracting the flaps (at 300ft), the Electra turned left at 140kts with a bank angle of 30- 45deg. The aircraft struck the ground during the turn.
