This is not an accident investigation report.

On 8th May 1997 flight CZ3456 a Boeing 737-31B crashed during the landing phase of the flight from Chongqing, in the central province of Sichuan(China) to Shenzhen(China). The domestic flight landed on its third attempt at 9:32 pm.in bad weather (thunderstorms, rainfall) at Shenzhen-Huangtian Airport, on the border between Macau and Hongkong, where it is reported to have veered into the grass by the runway, broke into three pieces and burst into flames. It was reported that of a crew of 9 plus 65 passengers, 2 crew members were killed 33 passengers were killed and 32 injured.
